Storefront window signage, “BICYCLE BASKETS - WORM BINS!! - LOCALLY MADE”, NE Alberta St. I walked in with worms on the brain and then it smelled awful and for a second I was wondering if OH GOD WORM BINS but that didn’t really make a lot of sense, and then I noticed they were painting, and that explained the smell.

A-frame sandwich board sign for Vinnies Pizza, with yellow and black pizza symbol, N Ivanhoe St. Vinnies is this hole-in-the-wall pizza joint that I don’t know how exactly they stay in business, but they’re local and they deliver so we try to order from them a fair amount of the time if we’re ordering pizza.  Cheese and pineapple, just about the perfect thing with a cold beer and they’re prompt as hell about getting it to the house. The send out menu mailers every few months with coupons inside that I mostly just can’t bring myself to use because the pizza’s already nice and cheap.
