Lifesize bronze statue made by artist Seward Johnson; it’s proper name is “Allow Me”, though I’ve never heard it casually referred to as anything other than “Umbrella Man” or “the umbrella man”.
I wrote a song nominally about the statue several years ago but never came up with a recording I was happy with.  I should give that another shot some time.
