One of my favorite nearby restaurants. Downtown St. Johns is a mile and change from from my house, and has a nice variety of restaurants, but this is one of the best for straight up tasty, nicely-crafted salty food. They’ve got a corned beef hash that I love to death, basically the same dish as this but juicy cornbeef chunks mixed in instead of bacon.
Every once in a while they poach the eggs a little too long, though, like today. I like my yolks straight up runny, not so much on the firm side. Better for mixing up with the potatoes. Still delicious, though.
